The Onboarding Process
1
Submit Initial Enquiry
Tell us about your furry friend by contacting us on WhatsApp, by Email, or submit the form at the bottom of this page. We'll review to ensure your dog is a good fit for our unique small-dog environment.
2
Assessment day
All new dogs undergo an assessment day to observe their temperament and comfort levels with other furry guests. This ensures a harmonious and happy experience for everyone involved.
3
Once the assessment visit is successfully completed, your dog is officially part of the Waggy Tail family! You can now book daycare or boarding dates whenever you need them.
Welcome to the Family
Paperwork Made Easy
- Vaccination Records (DHPP, Rabies, Bordetella)
- Completed Application Form
- Signed Service Agreement
- Signed Liability Waiver
You only have to get a copy of the Vaccination Record. We'll send you all other required electronic forms before the assessment visit. No printer required.

Assessment Day
The assessment day is a shorter daycare experience designed to help us understand your dog's temperament and ensure they thrive in our social home environment. Pet parents must be available to fetch immediately in case things are not going smoothly.
Drop-off & Check-in
The day begins with a calm drop-off where we review your dog's current health and specific needs for the day.
Supervised Play & Observation
We introduce your dog to the other furry friends and observe their behaviour, energy levels, and overall comfort within the pack. If they settle in comfortably we take them for a walk with their friends to see how they do on outings. Then back home where we see if they feel safe enough to rest.
End-of-day Feedback
When you pick up your furchild, we'll provide detailed feedback on their interaction and behavior throughout the day.
